Please Consider

Today I would like to mention a couple events that our Enduring Strings musicians should attend if possible.
Sunday, December 9, (the day after Crete Country Christmas) at 4:00 the Suburban Youth Symphony has a concert at St. Kieran Catholic Church in Chicago Heights. One of my goals for Enduring Strings is to get our musicians to join SYSO. It would be wonderful to see them at the concert.
And then there is this.

Virtuoso violist and friend of SYSO Matt Lipman is a local young man made good. He attended Crete-Monee High School and has followed a musical career path to Julliard and beyond. Guest artist Kayla Cabrera is also a local, also a violist, also attending Julliard, also on the path to a life in music, AND she got her start in SYSO programs. Lisa Kristina is the hardest-working (read "most in demand") freelance musician in Chicago, and she just happens to chair the SYSO board.
Seeing these people perform should be very inspiring, and I know they would love to meet some of the young musicians they're generously supporting.
So, please consider attending these events.
Mr. David
